Shipping policy

We ship from our warehouse in **Toledo, Ohio** to addresses across the 
United States. Below are the details of our shipping process, costs, 
and timeframes.

1. Where We Ship

We currently ship to:
- All 50 US states
- Washington DC

We do **not** currently ship to:
- US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, etc.)
- APO/FPO/DPO military addresses
- PO Boxes (some carriers do not deliver heavier items to PO Boxes)
- International addresses

If you need international shipping, please contact us at 
autoboxca@gmail.com — we may be able to accommodate special requests on a case-by-case basis.

## 2. Processing Time

Order processing happens before shipping:

| Placed before **2:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday** | Ships same business day |
| Placed after 2:00 PM ET | Ships next business day |
| Placed on weekends or US holidays | Ships next business day |

You will receive a **shipping confirmation email with tracking** when 
your order leaves our warehouse.

### Delays

While we ship most orders within one business day, processing may take 
up to **2 business days** during:
- Holiday seasons (Black Friday through New Year)
- Major sales events
- Heavy storm conditions in Ohio

If your order is delayed, we'll email you proactively.

## 3. Shipping Methods and Costs

We offer the following shipping options at checkout. Final cost depends 
on your address, package weight, and selected speed.

### Standard Shipping
- **Carrier**: USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground
- **Estimated delivery**: 3–5 business days
- **Cost**: Calculated at checkout based on weight and destination
- **Typical range**: $6 for most orders

### Expedited Shipping (when available)
- **Carrier**: UPS 2nd Day Air or USPS Priority Express
- **Estimated delivery**: 2 business days
- **Cost**: $15 for most orders
